The Bible tells us we “shall not live by bread alone . . .” , but our carb- and gluten-conscious culture seems to say we “shall not live by bread AT ALL.”
And yet, there’s something about bread, despite the Bible’s strictures and our own intolerance, that calls out to us as the deepest level.
Join Art Callaham, professional priest and amateur baker for an exploration of the spiritual dimension of bread and baking. We’ll sample selections of locally-made artisan-made breads representing a variety of world traditions (with a little wine) and even make our own bread to take home!
