Take in the beauty of nature in the heart of the city as the Hines Center joins Buffalo Bayou Partnership in offering our latest joint-venture wellness event.
Participants will be guided literally and figuratively as they walk through one of Houston’s most beautiful settings. Topics covered will include the mental health and fitness benefits of walking and exposure to nature.
Everyone is welcome. All will be encouraged and guided to walk at their own pace. Accommodation can also be made to welcome participants who roll (in wheel chairs) and caregivers with babies in strollers as we will take a fully accessible path.
Workshop will be presented by Laura Conely, founder of Urban Paths Wellness Coaching. Her mission is to inspire Houstonians to take the next step towards fitness in their lives. Walking on trails throughout the city, Laura helps clients explore their story, embrace their unique gifts and prepare for a healthier journey.
This class will happen in any weather (other than lightning), so bring your slickers if things look “misty” and a water bottle.
Saturday, 4/29, 8:00a – 9:30
