Rescheduled to begin January 24, 6:30 to 8:00pm
How can writing your story change your life? In this workshop, we will strive to uncover the lessons of our lives through skillful and expressive writing. Participants need not have strong writing skills, perceived talent, or a clear perspective on their lives; those will be cultivated during the workshop!
This six-week course engages unique literary tools that allow us to reflect on powerful events, unlock meaning, and explore powerful memories through the lens of poetic language.
There will be an additional voluntary reading of participants’ work the Hines Center labyrinth, Thursday evening following the last Tuesday class.
Cynthia Childress holds a Ph. D. as an English Generalist with a creative dissertation in poetry from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
