This 6-week class, taught by Ann Friedman, PhD, provides an introduction to the qualities we can cultivate through mindfulness which increase our overall sense of well-being, including equanimity, gratitude, appreciative joy, generosity, loving-kindness, and compassion. All of these teachings are found in the world’s great wisdom traditions, but mindfulness provides specific ways of cultivating our minds and hearts in these qualities. This class is a follow-up to the beginning mindfulness course.
